G'DAY FOLKS!

.The reason I am in a wheelchair is because I have Motor Neurone Disease (MND), also known as Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).
MND/ALS is a progressive neurological disease which destroys the neurons in the body's nervous system responsible for controlling muscle function. The end result is a person with a perfectly sound mind being locked inside a perfectly good but physically nonfunctioning body.
This was me in 2002 and now in 2006 I am still much the same and still hanging out for that very elusive cure.

To date there is still no treatment or cure and absolutely nobody is immune to this bloody disease.

My wife Alexis, has put her career on hold, she is now my full time 24/7 CARER. This is a very tough role for anyone to have to undertake and for this I am eternally grateful.

Our daughter Hannah, is also very supportive, we could not wish for a better daughter.
She has recently completed a degree in 'Music Composition' at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music.
This is another step on her way to achieving her goal as a writer of musical scores for motion pictures, television and theatre.
What she would like now is the opportunity to work with someone in one of these fields as an associate to gain valuable experience.
